Spring Dance Festival Performance

May 2011 – Sarasota, FL -West Coast Civic Ballet, under the direction of Artistic Director, Deborah Vinton, is preparing for WCCB Community 2011 Spring Festival. Dancers and choreographers have been creating new and exciting pieces for our upcoming matinee performance on Sunday, May 15 at 2:00, at Booker High School, Sarasota Visual, and Performing Arts Center.

The WCCB Community 2011 Spring Dance Festival will present a dynamic program. The program will include such favorites as, Tribute to Motherhood, choreographed by Ms. Deborah Vinton and exciting selections from the classical ballet, Coppelia. In addition, WCCB alumni will choreograph and perform premier modern and contemporary works.

Deborah Vinton founded West Coast Civic Ballet in 2003 in an effort to bring performance dance to the Sarasota and Bradenton communities. The WCCB mission is to provide quality training and performance opportunities to area artists in classical and contemporary dance and to enhance the appreciation and participation in the visual and performing arts.

WCCB offers dance classes in ballet as well as other genres of dance. We welcome students and interested members of Sarasota and Manatee communities to participate in all aspects of our organization. WCCB offers dance programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors. Our performing group is open to anyone who would like to audition and perform in community events.
